2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Raghunathpur P.S. Case No. 68 of 2025, dated 18.03.2025, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 118(1), 109, 351(2), 352 and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

3. The main submissions advanced by the petitioner's counsel are that the FIR has been registered against four named accused, including the petitioner, and some unknown persons. As per the allegation, the petitioner and the co-accused persons assaulted the informant using a knife and other sharp-edged

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.31140 of 2025(3) dt.13-08-2025 2/3 weapons, as well as hockey sticks and danda. However, the said allegation is not specific to the petitioner. The most important point is that, according to the informant's injury report, he did not sustain any sharp cut or penetrative injury on his body. Only three injuries were found, of which only one, at the third of the left ulna, has been opined to be grievous in nature. This shows that the informant did not sustain any grievous injury to the vital part of his body. It is further submitted that the petitioner has been languishing in jail since 27.03.2025, and against him, the investigation has been completed. Though the petitioner has criminal antecedents of two other cases but he is on bail in both the said cases. It is lastly submitted that the petitioner has been implicated in this case by the informant mainly due to previous enmity as well as due to local politics.

4. Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid submissions and mainly the facts that the allegation as to assaulting the informant by using knife and sharp-aged weapons, does not get corroboration from his injury report and against this petitioner, there is no specific allegation in the FIR and coupled with his custody period and completion of investigation against him, this Court is

Accordingly, let the petitioner named-above be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the concerned Court in connection with Raghunathpur P.S.
