Mr. Rajnandan Prasad, learned advocate has appeared on behalf of Punjab National Bank, C.B.I. has been represented by Mr. Bipin Kumar Sinha, learned advocate.

This is an application seeking quashing of the F.I.R of R.C. Case No. 0232 12 A 0015 dated 27.07.2012 (Special Case No. 8/12 instituted for the offence under Sections 120B read with 420, 409, 467, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 13(2) read with 13(1)(c)(d) of Prevention of Corruption Act.

On 21.03.2018, a report had been called for from the court below about the stage of the case. The report has since been received, which is kept at flag 'A'.

The report dated 24.03.2018 indicates that out of seven accused persons of this case, chargesheet has been submitted against five of them and as against those persons, cognizance also has been taken.
