2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Mahishi P.S. Case No. 38 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 364(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per allegation, when the informant's son was coming from Saharsa, the petitioner along with some unknown persons kidnapped his son and demanding a sum of Rs. 1,50,000/- as a ransom.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that on the similar footing, co-accused Jyotish Kumar @ Jyotish Kumar Mandal has been granted regular bail by this Court vide

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.34169 of 2024(4) dt.16-12-2024 2/2 order dated 28.08.2024 in Cr. Misc. No. 59605 of 2024.

5. On the other hand, learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts, the petitioner is not entitled for privilege of anticipatory bail. His prayer for anticipatory bail is hereby rejected.

7. If the petitioner surrenders before the court below and makes a prayer for regular bail, that shall be disposed of on the same day of its filing, on its own merit without being prejudiced by this order.
