The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "A. Issuance of writs in the nature of certiorari for quashing/ set aside the order dated 1.9.2011 vide Memo no.
702 whereby the representation of the petitioner regarding regularization of the service of the petitioner has been rejected on the ground that he has not worked regularly for ten years or more.
B. Issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents for the direction to
Patna High Court CWJC No.13564 of 2015(3) dt.31-08-2023 2/2 regularize the service of the petitioner in terms of various settlements arrived at and the commitment made by them.
C. The Respondents further be directed to confirm and adjust the service of the petitioner on vacant post of Jeep Driver in the office of the District of Araria."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
