The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking the following reliefs:- "I. For issuance of an appropriate writ in the

2/4 concerned to provide the petitioner and other 34 ration card holders of Ward No. 3 of village-Paniyadih, Gram Panchayat Raj, Parauli, Block-Bhagwanpur Hat, DistrictSiwan, ration-kerosene under Public Distribution System in appropriate quantity for which, the petitioner along with the others are entitled since when they have not been provided the ration and kerosene oil since September, 2016 to till date, which is evidently clear from the ration card itself.

II. For issuance of an appropriate writ in the concerned to take strict action against the private respondent, namely, Surendra Prasad Singh, who is the dealer under Public Distribution System in Gram Panchayat Raj Sarai Parauli of Ward No. 03, in which, the petitioner along with 34 ration card holders, who are ladies, as their family members are residing at different places and they are not being provided ration and kerosene oil since September 2016, and even after repeated request and representation, the ration and kerosene oil has not been provided to the petitioner along with others.

III. For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of a prohibition by restraining such kind of illegal activities, which is being done

3/4 by the private respondent, namely, Surendra Singh, retail PDS dealer of Gram Panchayat Raj Sarai Parauli, Block-Bhagwanpur Hat, District-Siwan, by which, the genuine card holders are being harassed and deprived with the connivance of the authorities concerned and the welfare scheme of the State Government is being frustrated since September, 2016 to till date and the representation/complain has no its fruitful resultant, as the petitioner along with the others have not been provided ration and kerosene oil.

IV. For issuance of an appropriate writ in the concerned to suitable an appropriate action for cancellation of license of private respondent, namely, Surendra Singh, the dealer under Public Distribution System in Gram Panchayat Raj Sarai Parauli, BlockBhagwanpur Hat, District-Siwan so that the genuine ration card holders will not be deprived from the ration and kerosene in future."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty to approach the District Magistrate, Siwan for redressal of his aforesaid grievances.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed off as

4/4 not pressed, however, with liberty to the petitioner to approach the District Magistrate, Siwan and in case appropriate representation is filed within a period of four weeks from today, the District Magistrate, Siwan shall look into the matter and shall make endeavours to redress the grievances of the petitioner by taking appropriate action within a period of six weeks thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
