The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Forbesganj P.S. Case No. 496 of 2020 for the offence under Sections 20 and 22 of the of the N.D.P.S. Act. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner, who is of clean antecedent, is innocent and has not committed any offence. In fact, 1.7 kg Ganja has been recovered form the possession of the petitioner according to the F.I.R. The alleged quantity does not come within the purview of commercial quantity. Moreover, the petitioner is not involved in any illegal business of Ganja as alleged in the F.I.R. The petitioner is

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.30686 of 2020(2) dt.15-12-2020 2/2 rotting in judicial custody since 25.06.2020. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let the, above named, petitioner be released on bail on furnishing his personal bond to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Araria in connection with Forbesganj P.S. Case No. 496 of 2020 corresponding to Special Case No. 05 of 2020.
