Public Prosecutor for the State and also heard learned counsel for Electricity department.

Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Baisi P. S. case no. 168/2018 registered under section 420 of the IPC.

Petitioner is said to have demanded cash from consumers of the electricity department for installation of meters but admittedly, the petitioner is not an employee of electricity department. However, it is pleaded in bail petition that there is land dispute between the petitioner and

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.60347 of 2018 (2) dt.06-10-2018 one Nisar Anjum who had made complain against the petitioner to officials of the electricity department. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, it is ordered that in the event of arrest/ surrender within six weeks from the date of receipt of this order to the concerned court, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea in Baisi P. S. case no. 168/2018 subject to condition as laid down under section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
