The petitioner is in custody since 18.7.2022 in connection with Rupaspur P.S. Case No. 652 of 2021 for the offence punishable under Sections 304(B)/34 of the I.P.C. lodged on 17.12.2021 by the informant Sonmatiya Devi. The prosecution story, in brief, is that the informant has alleged that her daughter Sursatiya Devi was married to Raja Manjhi, (the petitioner herein) as per the rituals and tradition. On 16.12.2021 she got information that her daughter committed suicide by hanging herself. When she reached in laws' house, found her daughter hanging. She suspected that her daughter was murdered by the accused persons. Accordingly, the FIR.

The alleged occurrence took place on 16.12.2021 and the petitioner surrendered seven months later on 18.7.2022 and as per the submission of learned counsel for the petitioner, charge-sheet has been submitted against him under section 304(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

Considering the aforesaid facts, for the present this Court is not inclined to extend him the privilege of bail which is accordingly rejected.
