The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in connection with Mufassil PS Case No. 517 of 2017 instituted for the offences under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act.

Allegation is that Ramshan Kumar, son of the informant, was shot dead by some unknown miscreants. The name of the petitioner has come during course of investigation at the behest of the confessional statement of one Rajnikant Kumar, co-accused in the case.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the
