JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 21-11-2022 Though, the present writ petition has been filed for directing the respondents to grant J.P. Senani Samman Pension to the petitioner inasmuch as the petitioner is stated to have taken part in the J.P. Movement and had remained in police custody for more than 10 months on account of detention under MISA, but the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Competent Authority for the purposes of applying afresh, for grant of J.P. Senani

Patna High Court CWJC No.13153 of 2021(2) dt.21-11-2022 2/2 Samman Pension. Liberty so sought is granted. It is needless to state that in case appropriate representation/application/petition is filed by the petitioner before the Competent Authority, within a period of 4 weeks from today, the same shall be decided, in accordance with law, by passing a speaking and a reasoned order, within a period of 12 weeks, thereafter.

The present writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
