The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sessions Trial No. 348 of 2019, arising out of Naya Ramnagar (Safiasarai O.P.) P.S. Case No. 253 of 2019 dated 20.09.2019 instituted for the offence under Section 25(1-A), 25(1-AA), 25(1-b)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.

Regard being had to the number of cases in which the petitioner has been made accused in the same police station, I am not inclined to grant bail to him. The other reasons which had weighed to this Court is that the trial has proceeded and some of the witnesses also have been examined.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.31092 of 2020(3) dt.22-02-2021 2/2 is rejected.

However, the trial court is directed to expedite and conclude the trial within a period of nine months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
