The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 419/420 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is said to have obtained the job of Panchayat Teacher on the basis of forged academic certificate. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that no such occurrence as alleged ever took place. The petitioner is quite innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. He has furnished the certificate accorded to him by the competent authorities at the time of his joining and after verification of the same he was given the appointment letter and has joined the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.30715 of 2019(2) dt.09-05-2019 2/2 service. The verification of the certificate is said to have been made on the basis of data available on the internet and not by the appointing authority. He was not given any notice in the proceeding. Moreover, he has been terminated from the service. He undertakes to extend full cooperation in investigation of the case. He has no criminal antecedent.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the C.J.M., Nalanda in connection with Ben P.S. Case No.31 of 2019, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
