1. Though the present writ petition has been filed to restrain the respondents from dispossessing the petitioners from land appertaining to Khata No.22, new Khata No.581, old Khesra No.736, new Khesra No.3373, admeasuring 2 Acres 3 decimals, situated at Village-Narkatia, P.S.-Basopatti, Gram Panchayat-Mardiya, District-Madhubani, however, at the outset, the learned counsel for the respondent-State has referred to the counter affidavit, filed in the present case to submit that the encroachment in question has already stood removed, hence the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous.

2. In view of the aforesaid, the learned counsel for the

Patna High Court CWJC No.24034 of 2013(8) dt.24-10-2024 2/2 petitioners seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to avail such other alternative remedies, as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of their subsisting grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
