The grievance of the petitioner can be agitated before the District Judge, Patna under Section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

The submission of the petitioner is that similarly situated persons have got award under the new Act and amount of compensation has been paid to them and therefore, the same should also be considered in the case of the petitioner by the

Patna High Court CWJC No.10347 of 2019(4) dt.17-11-2022 2/2 District Judge, Patna.

If an appeal is filed by the petitioner before the District Judge, Patna, the same shall not be transferred to any Additional District Judge for its hearing. It will be heard and decided by the District Judge, Patna in accordance with law within a period of three months of its filing. Delay in filing the appeal will be condoned.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
