1. The present petition has been filed for restoration of a writ petition, bearing C.W.J.C. No.2993 of 2022, which has stood dismissed for want of prosecution by an order dated 15.12.2022.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that on account of him being engaged in treatment of his mother, he could not appear on the date the aforesaid writ petition was called out for hearing, resulting in dismissal of the same for want of prosecution, hence it is submitted that a sympathetic

3. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, I deem it fit and proper to direct for restoration of the aforesaid writ petition bearing C.W.J.C. No.2993 of 2022 to its original file.
4. The present petition stands allowed.
