JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 05-09-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1(i). For that the concerned respondents may be directed to release ancestral land of the petitioner from the custody of the respondent no.8, situated at Mauja Dumri, Tauji No.4953, Thana No. 155, Jamabandi No./Sumar No. 101, Khata No. 301, Khesra No.546, area 32 decimal, in favour of the petitioner by way of demolishing the construction of the building of Aadarsh Middle School (old name is Middle English Board Madhyamik

(ii). For that if the above said land in question is not released in favour of the petitioner then the equivalent land of the school may be provided in favour of the petitioner.
(iii). For that if the above said land in question is not released in favour of petitioner, the sufficient rent of the land in question may be provided to the petitioner.
(iv). For that if the above said land in question is not released in favour of petitioner then the compensation of the land in question may be provided to the petitioner at present rate per katha with interest."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
