1. The petitioner has challenged the decision, dated 11.11.2012, of the Managing Committee of Sanskrit High

Patna High Court CWJC No.18306 of 2015(9) dt.20-04-2024 2/3 School, Lagma, Sakatpur, Darbhanga, which has been approved by the Bihar Sanskrit Shiksha Board vide its Memo No. 3830, dated 31.08.2015, annexed at Annexure3 to the writ application.

2. Learned counsel for the Board submits that as per Section 24 of the Bihar Sanskrit Shiksha Board Act, 1981, if anybody is aggrieved by the decision of the Board and/or Chairman of the Board, can prefer an appeal before the appellate authority, appointed by the Government, within a period of 60 days.

3. It has been informed that Special Secretary (Sanskrit), Education Department, has been authorized to hear appeal as an appellate authority.

4. Regards being had to the nature of the prayer made in this writ application, the present writ application is disposed with liberty to the petitioner to prefer an appeal before the Appellate Authority within a period of 30 days from today.

5. If such an appeal is filed by the petitioner, the same shall be considered and disposed by the Appellate Authority on its own merit without going into the question of limitation within a reasonable time frame.
