JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 18-09-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner seeks bail in Guraru P.S. Case No. 226 of 2018, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 419 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code.

Prosecution case is that petitioner illegally took Rs. 5,00,000/- as bribe from the informant Sudhir Kumar and his friend Mahesh Prasad for providing them job in Railway, but neither job was provided nor money was returned to them. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case and he is a retired employee of Indian Airlines who took VRS. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 20.12.2018.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner above-

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.30525 of 2019(3) dt.18-09-2019 2/2 named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000 (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Vth, Gaya in connection with Guraru P.S. Case No. 226 of 2018.
