2. The instant application for anticipatory bail has been filed by the petitioner apprehending his arrest in a case instituted for the offence under Sections 304B, 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per allegation in the FIR, marriage of the informant's daughter was solemnized with the petitioner's son in the year 2017. After the marriage, her husband and in-laws started ill treatment with her due to non-fulfillment of chain and motorcycle. It is further alleged that informant got information on 5.4.2022 about murder of his daughter and accused persons have confined the dead body.

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.35695 of 2024(3) dt.02-07-2024 2/2 petitioner has submitted that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He is father-in-law of the deceased and has been falsely implicated in this case. Main accused Arvind Rai, who is husband of the deceased has been acquitted by the trial court vide judgment dt. 17.10.2023 in S.T. No. 139 of 2023.

5. Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the prayer of Bail.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and in the facts and circumstances of the case as stated above, this Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The petitioner is directed to surrender in the Court below within a period of four weeks from today and in the event of his arrest or surrender in connection with Kudhani P.S. Case no. 171 of 2022, he will be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned ACJM-1 (West), Muzaffarpur subject to the conditions as laid down under section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
