The petitioner seeks bail in Sikty (Bardaha) P.S. Case No. 166 of 2020, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 406, 420 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, this petitioner who is agent of Reliance Insurance Company, collected Rs. 19,000/- from the informant, but issued receipt of amount of Rs. 5,000/- only and for rest amount of Rs. 14,000/- he gave forged deposit receipt to the informant, thus, he misappropriated cash of Rs. 14,000/-. Further alleged that petitioner also misappropriated deposit amount of other customers.

No.41978 of 2021(2) dt.26-10-2021 2/2 It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case and the amount which was given by various customers have been duly deposited by the petitioner in their respective account. Petitioner has got clean antecedent and he is in custody since 21.05.2021. Investigation is complete.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner above-named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Araria in connection with Sikty (Bardaha) P.S. Case No. 166 of 2020.
