2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with NDPS Case No. 2 of 2026 arising out of Hajipur Sadar P.S. Case No. 179 of 2025 instituted for the offences under Sections 8, 20(b) (ii)(c) of the N.D.P.S. Act.

3. Earlier, vide order dated 19.08.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 55687 of 2025, regular bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court considering the recovery of contraband beyond commercial quantity coupled with embargo under Section 37 of the NDPS Act. The present one is the second attempt of the petitioner for grant of bail.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.31425 of 2026(2) dt.08-05-2026 2/2 no chance of conclusion of trial in near future and the petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 04.03.2025 without any rhymes or reason.

5. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for grant of bail.

6. There is no fresh ground to consider the bail petition of the petitioner.

7. In view of the above, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is again rejected with a direction to the court below to expedite the trial.
