JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 28-08-2019 On account of passing of strict order by this Court, finally the outstanding retiral dues of the petitioner has stood paid, however, it is submitted on behalf of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that though the petitioner had retired on 31.07.2009, outstanding retiral dues have been paid only in the year 2018-19.
Having regard to the admitted delay caused in payment of the outstanding retiral dues of the petitioner herein, for which there is no explanation. I deem it fit and proper to grant liberty to the petitioner to approach the Chief Secretary,
Patna High Court CWJC No.16643 of 2016(9) dt.28-08-2019 2/2 Government of Bihar, Patna who would consider the case of the petitioner sympathetically and grant appropriate interest on the admitted payment of the outstanding retiral dues. This Court is refraining from passing any order with regard to interest in the hope and belief that the needful in this regard shall be done benevolently by the Chief Secretary, Government of Bihar, Patna.
The writ petition stands disposed off.
