The petitioner, who is in custody since 09.06.2020, seeks bail in connection with Dagarua P.S. Case No. 91 of 2020 (Special Case No. 236 of 2019) dated 09.06.2020 instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Excise Act, 2016 and Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code. 801 litres of liquor is said to have been recovered from a pick-up van of which the petitioner is said to be one of the drivers.
The petitioner denies the aforesaid factum and submits that another person who is said to be the codriver has been granted bail by a Bench of this Court.

Regard being had to the aforesaid facts, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise Act, Purnia in connection with Dagarua P.S. Case No. 91 of 2020 (Special Case No. 236 of 2019).
