JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 28-11-2023 At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to correct the name of the District mentioned in the residential address of the petitioner depicted at page no. 1 of the present writ petition, which has been wrongly typed as District-Saran instead of District-Patna. Permission, so sought, is granted. The needful be done during the course of the day. 2.

The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-

Patna High Court CWJC No.7858 of 2023(2) dt.28-11-2023 2/2 "1. That this writ petition is being filed for issuance of a writ in the nature of writ of mandamus directing the respondent authority to select the petitioner on the post of Police Sub Inspector by way of Advertisement No. 1/17 issued under the signature of Secretary, Bihar Police Sub Ordinate Service Commission (Respondent No.3) and be further pleased to pass an appropriate writ or writs, direction or directions as your Lordships may deem fit and proper."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent authorities for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
