The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 193, 196, 197, 199, 200, 201, 420 and 353 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner was Revenue Karamchari. The allegation is that due to his wrong reporting, the mutation order was passed in favour of non-deserving person by the Circle Officer, who is the informant of this case.

It is stated that the petitioner has no criminal antecedents. The allegation against the petitioner may ask liable for departmental proceeding which is already going on. However, no criminal offence is made out.

No.60863 of 2018(2) dt.01-10-2018 2/2 Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of thirty days from the date of receipt of the order, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending in connection with Ghorasahan P.S.Case No. 239 of 2018, G.R. Case No. 794 of 2018, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure as well as condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
