The short prayer made by the petitioner in the present writ petition is to direct the District Magistrate/ District Arms Magistrate, Muzaffarpur to dispose off the pending application of the petitioner, for grant of arms licence. 2.

Per contra, the learned counsel for the respondentState submits that in case any application has been filed by the petitioner for grant of arms licence and the same is still pending, the same would definitely be disposed off, within a stipulated time frame.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to dispose off the present writ petition with a direction to the District Magistrate/ District Arms

Patna High Court CWJC No.8026 of 2023(2) dt.09-08-2023 2/2 Magistrate, Muzaffarpur to dispose off the aforesaid application, filed by the petitioner in case the same has been filed and is still pending, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
