This application for regular bail arises out of Excise Case No. 124C2 of 2020, disclosing the offence punishable under Section30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. It is the case of the prosecution that on the basis of a tip off the police personnel intercepted a Bolero vehicle from which 720 litres of illicit liquor was recovered. The petitioner was present in the vehicle and was arrested on the spot. Considering the huge quantity of liquor said to have been recovered from the petitioner's possession from the vehicle, in my view, no case for grant of regular bail is made out for the present.

This application is accordingly rejected.
