This application for grant of regular bail in connection with G.R. No. 562 of 2023 arising out of Town Police Station Case No. 111 of 2023 registered for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2018. About 447.9 litres of illicit liquor has been recovered from Tata Magic Vehicle. The petitioner is in custody since 10.04.2023 and he has clean antecedent.

Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the period of custody and nature of allegations levelled against petitioner and the fact that he has clean antecedent, this application is allowed.
