JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 01-10-2018 It is submitted by the learned counsel for the State that as on date the petitioner is not the Mukhiya of Brahampur Gram Panchayat. She had filed the instant writ petition in the capacity of Mukhiya of the Gram Panchayat challenging the settlement made by the respondent Circle Officer in terms of public notice dated 02.04.2013 with regard to Kani House, Brahampur inspite of objection raised by her. She had also challenged the settlement of Jalkars of Brahampur Panchayat for the period 2012-13 to 201819 by the respondent District Fisheries Officer on 17.08.2012 in

He contended that since the petitioner is no more Mukhiya of the Gram Panchayat, the issues raised by her in the instant writ petition have become infructuous. Learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute the contention of the learned counsel for the State that the petitioner is not the present Mukhiya of the Brahampur Gram Panchayat. He also submitted that now since the petitioner is not holding the post of Mukhiya, this writ petition may be disposed of. In view of the submissions made above, the writ petition is disposed of.
