The petitioner-husband was granted provisional bail vide order dated 10.11.2014 with a view that the husband and wife will settle the dispute amicably.

Today, the petitioner-husband and the wife opposite party no. 2 have appeared in Court. Sri Sanjay Kumar, learned counsel for opposite party no. 2 submits that there is least chance of resolution of the dispute as the petitioner has already solemnized marriage with another girl. The wife also expressed her view that she is not willing to live with her husband. Therefore, it appears that the amicable settlement of the dispute is not feasible. The petitioner has already remained in jail for about six months.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.29453 of 2014 (6) dt.07-01-2015 Considering the facts aforesaid, the provisional bail granted to the petitioner-husband Sanjeet Kumar is hereby confirmed on the same terms.
