2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per FIR, three accused persons are said to have snatched the motorcycle, mobile phone and cash Rs. 11,300/- from the informant and fled away.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. He submits that the name of the petitioner surfaced in the case on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused, Vidyanand Sahni who has already been acquitted by the learned court below. He further submits that petitioner has criminal antecedent as stated in para-3 of the bail application and he is languishing in judicial custody since 12.03.2024.

5. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of offence, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for regular bail is rejected in connection with Barauni P.S. Case No. 212 of 2020.

7. However, petitioner is at liberty to renew his prayer for bail after framing of charge.
