2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Shikarpur P.S. Case No. 820/ 2024 dated 16.11.2024 registered for the offence(s) punishable under Sections 137(2) and 96 of the BNS.

The main submissions advanced by the petitioner's counsel are that the informant simply suspected the petitioner being involved in the kidnapping of his minor daughter but, in fact, the victim herself left the informant's house to her own will without any persuasion or force. It is further submitted that the informant's daughter had love affair with this petitioner and they
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.32745 of 2025(3) dt.06-08-2025 2/2 have solemnized marriage in a temple and these facts have been stated by her before the I.O. and the Judicial Magistrate. It is lastly submitted that the FIR was registered after four days of disappearance of the victim and the petitioner is a young person having fair and clean antecedent, has been languishing in jail since 19.11.2024 and investigation against him has been completed and both the parties have compromised the case.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the Informant has no opposition to the aforesaid prayer and he accepts the factum of recording of statement of the victim before the I.O. and the Judicial Magistrate and also accepts the factum of compromise in between the parties.

Having considered the aforesaid submissions advanced by the petitioner's counsel and mainly the custody period of the petitioner and his young age as well as completion of investigation against him, this court is inclined to grant the relief of bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, let the petitioner namedabove be released on bail in connection with Shikarpur P.S. Case No. 820/ 2024 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/-( Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court concerned.
