The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Kauwakol P.S. Case No. 232 of 2018 registered under Section 307 and other allied sections of the I.P.C. and section 27 of the Arms Act.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that earlier prayer of the petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail was rejected by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court on 16.01.2019 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 2115 of 2019, as contained in Annexure-3 to the supplementary affidavit. Further he submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State vehemently opposed the prayer of the petitioner by contending

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.41329 of 2021(4) dt.24-03-2022 2/2 that on merit, prayer of the petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail was rejected by a Bench of this Court vide Cr. Misc. No. 2115 of 2019 on 16.01.2019. There is no fresh ground to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail.

Having considered the above facts and circumstances of the case as well as the submissions advanced on behalf of the State, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer of the petitioner is rejected.
