2. Heard the parties.
3. The present petition has been preferred for the following relief(s):
"(i) For issuance of a writ/writs, order/orders, especially in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent especially Respondent
Patna High Court CWJC No.9587 of 2026(2) dt.09-07-2026 2/3 No. 2 to 5 to consider representation filed by the petitioner before them on various dates and thereafter included the name of the firm of the petitioner in the Final seniority list which was published on 26.12.2024 by the authority.
(ii) For issuance of a writ/writs, order/orders, especially in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent especially Respondent No.2 to 5 to published the fresh Final Seniority List after inclusion of the Saw Mill of the petitioner. (iii) May kindly be order to kept in abeyance the Final Seniority List dated 26.12.2024 till disposal of the present writ application and further be permitted to the petitioner operate his saw mill without interference.
(iv) Pass such other order/orders as your lordship may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case."
4. After some argument, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it will suffice if he is allowed to file fresh representation before the respondent no. 2, the Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (HoFF), Department of Environment,
Patna High Court CWJC No.9587 of 2026(2) dt.09-07-2026 3/3 Forest and Climate Change, Government of Bihar in next four weeks so that an appropriate order can be passed.
5. The State-respondents have no objection to it.
6. In that background, the writ petition stands disposed of allowing the petitioner to move before the respondent no. 2 (the Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (HoFF), Department of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of Bihar) within a period of four weeks who shall be duty bound to take the matter to its logical conclusion, in accordance with law, at an earliest.
