The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1) A). To issue a writ of Mandamus or any other writ or Writs, direction or directions commanding upon the respondents to pay compensation to the tune of Rs. 10 Lakhs to the petitioner with statutory interest admissible under law on account of death of Petitioner son namely

Patna High Court CWJC No.6803 of 2016(6) dt.24-08-2023 2/2 Bihari Lal Prasad who died on account of catching of 11000 Kilo Volt wire running over the roof side of the house of the Petitioner established by the respondents Electricity Board now North Bihar Power Distribution Company Ltd."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the respondent-Company submits that a sum of Rs. 2,00,000/- has been paid to the petitioner by way of compensation in lieu of death of his son on account of electrocution.

In view of the aforesaid, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, at the moment, he is not having any further grievance, hence the present writ petition be disposed off. 4.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
