Heard Mr. Prabhat Kumar Singh learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Shantanu Kumar, learned APP for the State.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bihiya P.S. Case No. 252 of 2020 dated 20.07.2020 instituted for the offence under Section 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

140 litres of liquor is said to have been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is said to be in custody since

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.31098 of 2020(4) dt.26-03-2021 2/2 21.07.2020 and does not have criminal antecedents. Regard being had to the period of custody of the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 4th Additional District and Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Bhojpur at Ara in connection with Bihiya P.S. Case No. 252 of 2020.
