JUSTICE VIKASH JAIN ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 20-08-2018 The present writ petition has been field for a direction to the respondents to make payment of Rs. 1,63,527/- i.e. the cheque amount issued by the respondent authorities with regard to contractual work done by the petitioner; and be further pleased to direct the respondents to make payment of penal interest @ 18% per annum on the cheque amount/due amount.

2. None appears on behalf of the petitioner despite repeated calls. The petitioner was not represented on the earlier occasion on 14.08.2018 as well.

Having regard to the nature of the grievance of the petitioner and the stand of the respondents, the writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to approach the concerned respondent for redressal of his grievances in the light of the averments made in the counter affidavit.
