The petitioner, Dhanraj Bind, seeks regular bail in Chainpur P.S. Case No.76 of 2013, registered under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Manoj Prasad alleged that his sister was killed by her husband and in-laws.

Mr. Bikramdeo Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that nobody has seen the occurrence. However, it here appears that the deceased died due to strangulation. Having considered the fact that the petitioner is the husband and his wife died on account of asphyxia due to strangulation within two years of her marriage, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.29531 of 2014 (4) dt.07-01-2015 2/2 Learned Adhoc Additional Sessions Judge-1, Kaimur at Bhabhua, who is in seisin of the sessions trial, is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the trial within one year from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
