Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Raniganj PS Case No. 469/2019 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 452, 307, 302 of the IPC.
As per First Information Report, due to previous dispute for land, the accused persons, altogether seven in number including the petitioner armed with Lathi, Danda etc., came to the courtyard of the informant and assaulted the brother and sister-in-law of the informant, as a result of which, brother of the informant namely, Rohit Tuddu died.

No.42147 of 2021(2) dt.01-02-2022 2/3 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a female and she has not committed any offence in the manner alleged and has falsely been implicated in this case due to previous land dispute. Learned counsel further submits that the allegation against the petitioner and others are general and omnibus in nature and she has got no criminal antecedent. He further submits that other co-accused persons i.e., male members of the family of the petitioner have been granted bail by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide Cr. Misc. No. 17876/2021 and the petitioner is in custody since 07.04.2021. Regards being had to the submissions made by the parties and taking into consideration the material on record and the fact that petitioner is a lady, similarly situated co-accused persons have already been granted bail by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court, the petitioner is in custody since 07.04.2021 and the charge-sheet has been submitted, I am inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.
Accordingly, let the petitioner, CHANDMANI TUDDU @ CHANDAMANI TUDDU @ CHANDAMANI be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty-five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial
