Learned counsel for the State is present and submits that the claim has been made for payment of wages for the work done by the petitioners under Mahatama Gandhi Rural Employment Guarantee Act (for short "MANREGA") A counter affidavit has been filed by the State, wherein the statement has been made that whatever the money was to be paid under that scheme has already been paid to the petitioners. In such view of the matter, this writ petition has been rendered infructuous.

Patna High Court CWJC No.9961 of 2015(4) dt.21-01-2019 3/3 It appears that there is no contradiction about the payment made to the petitioners engaged under MANREGA scheme and there is no rejoinder to the statements made in paragraph no.8 of the counter affidavit.

In such view of the matter, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
