The present Writ Petition has been filled for the following reliefs:- "That this writ application has been filed on behalf of the petitioner for issuance of an appropriate writ /writs /order /orders commanding /directing the respondent no.2 to pay the full body insurance amount of Rs. 18,24,190 with interest regarding the Hyundai Creta Car of the petitioner bearing Registration No.- BR01HR- 4834 which accident was caused on 22.07.2024 at 5.15 a.m. at Bibiganj, N.H.-922, Bhojpur Ara when the claim of the petitioner was rejected by the ICICI Lombard, General

Learned counsel for the petitioner has stated that the authorities in spite of there been a valid insurance policy are not paying the insurance amount for the vehicle that was damaged in an accident. Learned counsel has stated that a FIR has been lodged, however, till date the respondent-insurance authorities are not paying the insurance amount.

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents has stated that the petitioner has an alternative and efficacious remedy of approaching the insurance ombudsman under Section 14 of the Insurance Ombudsman Rules, 2017 and prayed for dismissing the present writ petition.

5. Having regard to the above made submissions, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to approach the insurance ombudsman under Section 14 of the Insurance Ombudsman Rules, 2017 within a period of two weeks from the date of the receipt of the copy of this order. On receipt of the same, the ombudsman shall endeavour to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of twelve weeks thereof.

6. With the above directions, the present writ petition
