25-10-2021 Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The petitioner seeks bail in Laxmipur P.S. Case No. 260 of 2020, registered for the offence under Section 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, this petitioner alongwith other accused persons committed torture and caused death of the sister of the informant due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

Petitioner is mother-in-law of the deceased. There is general and omnibus allegation. Petitioner is living separately in her ancestral property and has got no concern with the family affairs of deceased and her husband. In fact, the deceased has committed suicide due to quarrel with her husband. Petitioner is in custody since 25.03.2021. Chargesheet has been submitted.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.41707 of 2021(2) dt.25-10-2021 2/2 Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the bail petition of petitioner is allowed. Let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Jamui in connection with Laxmipur P.S.
