The petitioner is in custody in connection with S.T. No. 400 of 2022 arising out of Gogari (Poura) P.S. Case No. 238 of 2020 for the offences punishable under sections 147, 149, 341, 323, 307, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code, and subsequently added 302 I.P.C. lodged on 27.06.2020 by the informant, Indramani Kumar.

Earlier, the case of the petitioner was taken up on 16.05.2022 and 29.03.2023 and vide Cr. Misc. No. 6706 of 2021 and Cr. Misc. No. 19027 of 2023 respectively, it was rejected. In this case, report was called for and as per the report dated 03.07.2024, all the charge-sheet witnesses had been examined, only IU has to be examined and the case is at its back

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.34826 of 2024(3) dt.23-08-2024 2/2 date and has ensured/concluded in next couple of months. The allegation against the petitioner is that he had hit the victim person on his head causing immediate death. In that background, his bail application stands rejected and it is expected that the Trial Court will conclude the trial as assurance....
