The petitioner seeks bail in Mahila Police (Bhabua) P.S. @ Mahila (Bhabua) P.S. Case No. 24 of 2013 for the offence under Sections 304B and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Ramji Patel, father of the deceased, made allegation that his daughter was married to Dinesh Patel about six years ago, but on account of non-fulfillment of demand of dowry, Dinesh Patel, the husband of his daughter, and other accused persons killed his daughter Santoshi Devi.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the brother-in-law of the deceased. No specific allegation of demand of dowry and torture is made against the petitioner.

Having considered the facts aforesaid and the nature

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.30020 of 2014 (4) dt.07-01-2015 2/2 of allegation made against the petitioner and the fact that the petitioner is the brother-in-law of the deceased, who is in jail since 20.05.2014, the petitioner named above is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kaimur at Bhabua in Mahila Police (Bhabua) P.S. @ Mahila (Bhabua) P.S. Case No. 24 of 2013.
