The petitioner is apprehending her arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341/323/386/387/427/504/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation against the petitioner, who is local Ward Councilor, is that she demanded ransom from the informant, who is running a shop at footpath.
Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner being a public representative had filed several complaints against the encroachers of footpath including the complainant of this case and for that reason she has falsely been implicated.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.63151 of 2018(2) dt.03-12-2018 2/2 opposed the prayer for bail.
Considering the entire facts of the case especially the fact that the petitioner is a female, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of thirty days from the date of receipt of the order, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court-below where the case is pending in connection with Srikrishnapuri Police Station Case No.238 of 2018, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure as well as condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
