Petitioner seeks bail in Bakhari P.S. Case No.25 of 2019 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(a) (d) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is alleged that police on getting information that few persons are indulging in sale of illicit liquor arrived at the place of occurrence. On seeing the police party, the accused persons fled away. Local Chowkidar identified the petitioner and others, who managed to run away. The police in presence of independent witnesses recovered various articles including 19.5 litres liquor from motorcycle.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that Petitioner is in custody since 03.04.2019 having clean antecedents.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge II cum Special Judge, Begusarai, in connection with Bakhari P.S.
