The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Jadopur P.S. Case No.98 of 2020 registered under Section 307 and other minor sections of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case merely on the basis of suspicion and previous enmity. It is further submitted that there is general and omnibus allegation against them. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail by contending that the petitioner including other accused persons are alleged to have assaulted the informant Meera Devi, her husband and her sons by means of lathi and iron rod as a result of which they sustained injuries, which are corroborated

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.42108 of 2021(4) dt.05-05-2022 2/2 by the injury report. Therefore, the petitioner does not deserve anticipatory bail.

Having considered the facts aforesaid, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail is rejected. Harish/- (Arvind Srivastava, J) U T
