JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 12-07-2021 Heard Mr. Santosh Kumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, Mr. Kumar Priyaranjan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Punjab National Bank and Mr. Vindhayachal Rai, learned AAG for the State. The only grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is that in the process of realization of excess amount paid to the petitioner, the Bank has realized Rs. 21,669/- excess than what was supposed to be realized against
Patna High Court CWJC No.14593 of 2017(7) dt.12-07-2021 2/2 the excess payment made to the petitioner.
Mr. Kumar Priyaranjan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Bank would submit that the Bank has clarified in the counter affidavit the details of calculation of deductions. If the petitioner is not satisfied, he may represent the Senior Branch Manager, Punjab National Bank, Rajendra Chowk, Hajipur, Distt. Vaishali, who shall look into the matter. In view of the above, the Senior Branch Manager, Punjab Natinal Bank, Rajendra Chowk, Hajipur is directed to look into matter and grant opportunity to the petitioner in the matter of accounting and if it is found that anything excess has been realized from the petitioner, the Bank shall refund those excess amount to the petitioner otherwise, the Bank will pass appropriate order furnishing details of the calculation within a maximum period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
With the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of.
