Heard learned counsel for the petitioners as well as the learned APP for the State.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.35664 of 2022(2) dt.05-09-2022 2/3 The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Madhepura P.S. Case No. 11 of 2022, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 384, 386, 447, 427, 147, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The present case has been instituted on the basis of complaint petition. As per allegation, the informant is a practising lawyer and an old person and the petitioners who are his family members including the step brothers demanded ransom of rupees ten lacs and they also occupied his land which was purchased by him in name of his wife. It has been mentioned in paragraph No. 6 of the complaint petition that the said land fell into the share of the informant after partition. Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that both the parties are agnates. There is land dispute and the informant did not file papers showing that the land in dispute fell in his share. He has submitted further that the petitioners are the persons of clean antecedents.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioners, in the event of their arrest or surrender within four weeks before the learned court below, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the

Case No. 11 of 2022, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. Office shall ensure that all defects are removed by the petitioners within the stipulated time provided in para-1 hereinabove, failing which the matter shall be brought to the notice of this Court.
