The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sahebganj P. S. Case No. 359 of 2020 dated 05.07.2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 272, 273, 120(B) and 414 of the Indian Penal Code; Sections 25(1-b)a and 26 of the Arms Act, 1959; and Sections 30(a)(g), 33, 34(B), 35(A), 36 and 41(a)(ii) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It appears from the F.I.R. that liquor was recovered from the possession of one of the co-accused persons and from a tin-shed. Though the petitioner has

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.31388 of 2020(2) dt.02-12-2020 2/2 been named in the F.I.R. but the main allegation has been levelled against Mukesh Sahani and others. The petitioner served the aforesaid Mukesh Sahani and others as their domestic help.

The petitioner is stated to be in custody since 07.07.2020 and one of the accused persons of this case namely Mukesh Sahani has been granted bail by a Bench of this Court.

Considering the afore-stated facts, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise Act, Muzaffarpur, in connection with Sahebganj P. S. Case No. 359 of 2020.

The petition stands allowed.
